About the event

The Storytelling Institute: Creativity & Commerce is a lunch-n-learn + dinner salon series that is part of the Playmakers and Producers Program.

(3) Lunch-n-Learns + (1) Dinner Salon = 4ward movement towards thriving in creative ventures.

Our mission is to ignite imagination with insight...and profits. We curate safe spaces for coaching creativity as "a revelatory distillation of experience" that breaks silences and bridges differences. Our team trains you how to transform your silence into a language and creative content to be shared...for a fee.

YOUR COMMUNITY: We want to gather. We want to believe everything's gonna be alright.

PLAYMAKER/PRODUCER (YOU): On it!

LUNCH-N-LEARNS - 11:30 AM EST

Day 1 (April 16) - "What do I have to say?"

Day 2 (April 17) - "To whom do I say it?"

Day 3a (April 18) - "Where do I say it?"

DINNER SALON - 6:30 PM EST

Day 3b (April 18) - "How do I say it?"/Overcoming Fear of Having My Say (Guilt, Shame & Storytelling)

It is agony to have something to say but want to say it in the right way. The notion of “the right way” can feel exhausting and fearful, leading solution-bearers to sit mute in a corner and wait for someone else to speak. When fear of not doing it “the right way” and alleged “best practices” silence our most credible voices (i.e., you), we have a problem. We also have a responsibility to speak up, to show up.

Silence is not profitable. Recess is over. Time for lunch. Time to #GreenlightYourself.

*NOTE: Pre-class assignments and post-lunch reflections maximize the learning experience. Make a commitment to prioritize the lunch-n-learns/dinner salon as important steps to activating your profitable creative dreams.
